The purpose of our ministry is to help families grow in faith and prepare for the Sacraments. These moments, whether welcoming a child into the Church through Baptism, guiding families toward First Eucharist and Confirmation, or walking with adults in the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA), are among the most beautiful expressions of our Catholic faith. But this journey is not meant to be walked alone. It takes a parish family to nurture faith!

These are the ways this ministry functions:

• Baptism Preparation Facilitators: Walk with parents and godparents as they prepare for their child's Baptism. You will help lead conversation about the meaning of Baptism, share practical tips for living the faith at home, and create a welcoming environment for families. This ministry is about hospitality and helping families feel supported as they begin their child's faith journey.
• Sacrament Preparation Helpers: Help children and families prepare of the First Eucharist and Confirmation. This includes welcoming families at sessions, assisting with crafts or activities, helping to set up and clean up, and offering encouragement during lessons. Your presence helps make these gatherings joyful and stress-free for parents and children.
• OCIA Team Members: OCIA is a powerful ministry of accompaniment. Adults seeking to enter the Catholic Church often come with deep questions and longing for God. They need patient guides who will walk with them, share their faith stories, and help them feel at home in our parish. This is not about having all the answers; it's about being present and letting Christ work through you.
• Summer Bible Camp Volunteers: Bring the joy of faith to life for children during our summer program! Volunteers help with crafts, music, games, snacks, and storytelling. Whether you can give a few hours of a few days, your energy and enthusiasm will make this camp a memorable experience for our youngest parishioners.

You do not need to be a theologian, just a willing heart and a love for our faith. Training and resources will be provided, and you'll never serve alone. Together, we can create an environment where families and individuals feel supported, encouraged, and connected to the Church.
