It can sometimes be difficult to give, especially if you are already giving. But it is important to remember that we are still a part of our local parish. And when that parish is in need we are all in need. We can see even the Catechism reflects this need:

The fifth precept (“You shall help provide for the needs of the Church”) means that the faithful are obliged to assist with the material needs of the Church, each according to his own ability.

(The Catechism of the Catholic Church ¶ 2043)

As fellow members of our parish, we ask you to prayerfully consider what your “own abilities” are. And to help us provide for the needs of our own parish together.
